In this section, we'll explore the staking process on Illuminate and explain the value of participating in the revenue share model.

By staking your ILM tokens, you'll receive voting rights to influence the platform's cosmetic improvements, potential token listings, as well as, suggest proposals of your own. Follow these steps to stake your ILM tokens and become an active participant in the Illuminate ecosystem:

  1. Visit the Illuminate website and navigate to the "Staking" page by clicking on "Stake ILM" in the header menu.

  2. Once you're on the staking page, you'll see an overview of the platform's staking details, including the current APY, total staked ILM, and other relevant information.

  3. Select a staking period for your ILM tokens using the provided options. The staking period you choose will factor into the dynamic APR you'll receive, rewarding longer commitments with higher returns.

  4. To stake your ILM tokens, enter the desired amount you wish to stake in the input field provided. Ensure you have enough ILM in your connected wallet to cover the staking amount.

  5. After entering the staking amount and selecting the staking period, click on the "Stake" button. A wallet confirmation window will appear, prompting you to review the transaction details and approve the staking process.

  6. Confirm the transaction in your wallet, and wait for it to be processed on the blockchain.

  7. You can now view your total locked ILM balance on the staking page and monitor your staking rewards. As an ILM holder, you are entitled to participate in Illuminate's governance decisions and help shape the platform's future.

The dynamic APR and staking rewards are made possible through the revenue generated by the platform, which includes donation fees, locking and staking fees, and other products yet to be launched. By staking your ILM tokens, you not only secure a share in Illuminate's revenue but also contribute to the platform's growth and development.
